The researcher at the Center for Strategic Thought for Studies, A. Atiq Jarallah, participated in the international conference on (continuity and change in Iran, Turkey and North Africa), which was organized by the Center for Iranian Studies (Iram), in cooperation with Yildirim Beyazit University in the Turkish capital, Ankara, 21- April 22, 2017, with the participation of more than 200 researchers.

The title of the paper presented by the researcher was: (Turkish-Iranian soft power in the Arab region: Philosophy, Tools and Impact), which is a summary of a study that the researchers of the Strategic Thought Center for Studies are working on, and it will be issued this year on Turkish-Saudi-Iranian soft power, which we hope will be of the highest quality. One of its kind in monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the soft power of the three regional countries.

The Director of the Center, Dr. Ahmed Uysal, said that the conference aims to provide a platform that allows participants to exchange their views on the region’s issues and their interactions, including economic, political, social, security and environmental issues, as well as terrorism, social security, youth unemployment, brain drain, and diagnosis. The imbalance in the relations of the countries of the region with each other, and then presenting views and offering appropriate solutions.

The researcher praised the quality of the presented papers and the mechanism of organizing the conference’s activities, as well as the warm welcome by the hosts, which left a positive impression on researchers coming from Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Mauritania, Turkey, Iran and the Gulf. , Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan
