Within the framework of the Research Centers and Civil Society Organizations Program of the University of Pennsylvania, the Director of the Center for Strategic Thought for Studies, Dr. Abdel Karim Al-Hubaishi, participated in the annual conference of research centers in the Middle East and North Africa, which was held in Hammamet, Tunisia, between 3-5 October 2018, with the participation of 44 centers from Europe, America and the Middle East.

The conference discussed many topics related to developing the performance of research centers and the roles assigned to them. The director of the center presented the initiative to launch a training platform to qualify young researchers and adopt their initiatives and scientific production. The director of the program welcomed it and promised to study it in cooperation with the Strategic Thought Center and interested centers.
